New Grant: SDN-microSENSE project was funded by H2020-SU-DS-2018 framework! UOWM was one of the main contributors to this successful proposal. Well done SDN-microSENSE!
New Work Experience: I have started working on the MARS project co-funded by the European Union and Greek national funds through the Operational Program Competitiveness, Entrepreneurship, and Innovation, grant number T1EDK-04759. The sMart fArming with dRoneS (MARS) aims at developing appropriate applications in order to monitor crops with the use of UAVs and sensors. The agriculture data from UAVs will be processed through machine learning algorithms and will be connected in Geographical Information Systems (GIS) and cloud infrastructures in order to achieve timely diseases detection of the plants for immediate treatment.
